Ed Neely left this morning for Al
bany to look after the shipment of some
sheep purchased by S. C. Miller, of
Dillard. Mr. Miller was a passenger
on the same train. He is obliged to
walk about on crutches owing to a
sprained ankle, sustained last Saturday
by jumping over a fence while out
hunting.

Echo, Or., Sept. 19. Wheathauling
is now in full blast, and the estimate
placed upon tho Echo wheat crop Is
not far from 40,0000 bushels. Many
farmers say they will not be through
hauling until Christmas. The third
orop of alfalfa is now in the stack, and
the year's output is highly satisfactory
to tho stockman and feeder.
