B. Patrick. Marshal Patrick was seriously stabbed tn Grants Pass last February while attempting to arrest a man named Chiles, who is now serving a six years sentence in the Oregon penitentary. Mr. Patrick is slowly recovering his former strength, He is minus the little finger of his left hand as the result of trying to ward off the blows of the knife wielded by his assailant.
