Not until next November will the celebrated McKin loy, Puter, Ware and WatBon land fraud cases come to trial before the United States Court. Last evening tho cases were continued ovor until the Fall term of court upon representation of the prosocution that a valuable wit ness had not yet been located, and that It was doubtful when he would be found. This witness is Edwin H. Hob son, who, it appears, received deeds to claims alleged to have been fraudulent ly secured by tho McKinloy-Puter-Ware-Watson quartet. United States District Attorney John fl. Hall stated this morning that the presence of Hobson was an absolute necessity and that ft would be Impos sible for the case to continue without him. Hobson had been located at Gcnessee. Idaho, when he went to visit relatives, but when a United States Marshal was sent there to serve a subpoena on him he was not to be found. No trace of his whereabouts was found either, and the chase for the witness now Is but a repetition of that which bos been going on for the past six years.
