Details Given. I APRIL 22, 1904. On Thursday evening a dispatch was received here by Mr. Henry Conn, say- lug the body of his brother, J. C. Conn, I had been found three miles from Silver : Lake, Oregon, 'from which place he mysteriously disappeared on March 4th. Winnlford a deed to real property formorly owned by William Roes, now deceased. The property in question was mortgaged to the said James Chenoweth during his life time by Mr. Roes. After Mr. Rees' death, his holrs assigned their intorest in the proportytoC. L. Chenoweth, brother and heir of James Chonowoth, then deooased, and in order to satisfy the mortgage, Mr. Chenoweth fold the property to R. L. Winuiford for 13,1300. Calvin Cobb, proprietor of the Boise Ida Statesman, was called to the stand, but said he had no knowledge except hearsay of persons living in polygamy in Idaho. One-third of the members of the Idaho state legislature, he said, were Mormons, and political leaders, both republicans and democrats, catered to the Mormon element in order to get votes.
