Editor Review: As the malignant
attack which the above ex-oflioial has
made, has become so personal as to
leave no doubt ia the public mind a',
whom his personal shafts were aimed,

ceived a dislike, in the public press, I

ness over the dismissal of the case
against me by tiie newly elected oltlcers
of Myrtle Creek, is largely due to the
fact that since he has lost his "grafting
job", and he and his clique are in neod
of finance, and because they are unable
to procure the same at the city or
county's expense as witnesses against
me In the aforesaid case in the circuit
court, as he fully realizes that unless he
could attend the court he would be de
prived of his whiskey money.
I wonder if Mr. Armitage has for
gotten the time, within that beautiful

carried for the purpose of opening li
quor bottles, and when he fully realized
that he had lost them he became angry
and took his revolver and shot the
necks otf the liquor bottles. Such is
the man who claims to be such a good

Myrtle Creek. I positively state that
