The valentine social, held by the
Grange, at the hall on the evening
of the 14th was a decided success,
financially a neat little sum being
realized from the sale of the Cafe
teria supper. Chances on a quilt
were sold by the ladles of the Red
Cross, and the quilt was' won by
Charlie Stubbs. A valentine box was
an interesting and amusing feature of
the evening s entertainment. Some
folks found out some startling truths
about themselves in the nature of
comical valentines, which Mr. Busen
bark did not hesitate, to- read to the
crowd as he destributed them to their
owners. Games were played until
11:30 p. m., when the merry folks
parted,
Mr.G. A. Crane is slowly improv
ing after a relapse of the "flu". Mr.
Crane'B motto' is "Save fhe Razor"
for he has heard that a body should
keep warm after having the flu.
