In a letter received from Prance

, that Harold Bellows, who has boen
i with the ambulance corps, Is now in
( the hospital suffering from a broken
arm. The accident occurred 'while
the young man was operating his car.

Ben C. Carr and Matilda Grunlng,
both of Roseburg, were marledl at
4:30 o clock yesterday afternoon by
Rev. C. O. Coppage, of the Methodist
Church South. The ceremony took
place at the parsonage, and was wit
ness only by a few persons. Mr. and
Mrs. Carr expect to make their home
here, as the former is a railroad man.

At the tlmo the ban was placed
on public gatherings it was the In
tention of Archdiacon Chambers to
hold special services in St. George's
Church, but, the ban removed the
possibility. .Beginning next Sunday
the eight of the special services will
be held. The plan is as follows:
