High school teachers attending the summer school of the University of Oregon at Eugene formed a state or ganization at a dinner held at the Osburn hotel in Eugene on Wednes day of last week. The funeral of Horace Hon roe Porter, who died at the Springfield hospital, Tuesday, will be held from the Walker chapel at that place Sat urday morning at 10 o'clock, says the 10 u gene Guard. Porter was a stranger in Springfield and was taken 111 very suddenly while passing through the town. He was 72 years and., eight months of age. Two brothers tand two sisters survive.
