Lounsbury, of Portland-, who has been the guest of Miss Kath ryn Clarke for some weeks, returned to her home last week. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brown and son, Kenneth, spent Sunday with friends at Canyonville. Mrs. Mary Lady, a well known Douglas county pioneer who resides at Myrtle Creek, is in this city at the home of her daughter,' Mrs, Jennie Dyer. Many old friends are pleased to meet Mrs. Lady. Also her daugh ter, Mrs! Dyer, who will soon leave for Washington where ner nusoano, E. B. Dyer, has decided to locate. John Cutsforth, of Riddle, is a guest at the home of Dale Cutsforth this week.
