Homer Leep is a son of Dr. and
Mrs. K. A. Iep, of Myrtle Point.
Coos county. A few weeks ago Dr.
Leep received ,a telegram from New
Orleans to 1)16 effect that his son had
been seriously injured while engaged
in an aerial flight. .. ..
Dr. and Mrs. Leep .hastened- to
New Orleans, but' upon arriving there
could find no trace of their son. His
name did not appear, on the roster of
the aviation corps and he was not
known to tho Now Orleans officials.
The matter was then referred to the
war denarlment.
Dr. and Mr, Leep passed through
Rosebnrg enrouto to their home on
August 15, and Bnid the Homer Leep
that wns Injured was not, their son

Deep mystery has surrounded the
telegram regarding1 Loop's alleged
injuries, andi It la surmised he sent
