prohibition bill will be held in the
house chamber at 8 o'clock tomor
row night under direction of the
Joint house and senate committee
on alcoholic traffic.
Every one Interested In the bill
has boon Invited to attend. It Is
tindnratood that a delegation of
lharm!lU and a group of physic
Inns will be here to discuss the sec
tions rogardlng the sale of pur al
cohol. Wholesale and retail grorers also
have written In for copies of the bill.
The wholeealers are Interested In the
provlnions regulating the Impoitallon
of alcohol for mwhanle.il purpose.
They use it for tho mamitaf lure of
extn-cts, and the ineoure dw-s not
propose to deny them this privilege.
It impoeea restrictions, however,
that will prevent Ha ahu?e.
The hill probably will be ,ip for
final pasage before the e;id of tho
wwk, and will go throiiph the house,
bearing the emergeney clause, with
at least 60 votes. That Is certain.
It Is probable that It will have 54 and
possibly 67 votes.
