U. will hold a two days' session com mencing tomorrow. The meetings will be held in the Presbyterian church and many speakers promin ent in temperance work will he heard. Mrs. Kemp, state president of the organization will be present at the meetings and Is scheduled for a talk on Friday afternoon and ev ening. Foley, representative of the Rogers Co., was in this city to day. The newspaper men of tho state who were at Medford last week, will regret to hear1 of the death of the wife of their chaplain, Rev. T. B. Ford, of Salem. She passed away suddenly at her home in Salem yes terday. Rev. Ford, who Is district superintendent of the M. K, church, with headquarters at Salem, was in Ashland it the time of her death, having remained there for n short time after the adjournment of the editorial meeting.
