These are all well-known cliarn'ters and any attempt to enact them without first carefully studying them nilKUt prove abso lutely fatal to ono's Interpretation of Hie roles. I It Is not a matter of liavlnp the director say, "Now, you nro angry." The point Is, how v ' 7uzn chow her aner; how would Bella Donna net when enraged; what would Audrey do If she lost her temper? They would not ill show their emotions In the same manner. Queen Guin eviere was the first character to be named and Miss .Maurino Ouchannn was nominated and unanimously and enthusiastically elected for the honor. King Arthur was next in order, and Miss Alexander cautioned mo voters to have care in naming a can didate for this place, as ho must be generous, noble, and liked by bis friends, with flaxen hair and blue eyes if possible, to carry out tho de scription of the Arthur of the story. Edward Kohlhagen's name was pre sented as filling tho description, but to the disappointment of his friends, Mnounced that he "resigned the po sition," and out of several other names mentioned, that of Loas Wright received tho ninjority or votes. Loas will make a splendid King Arthur, and has taken parts in public before, always being consci entious and faithful In his perform ance. Keith Wright was chosen to be the Archbishop and George Uradburn for the part of Merlin, the magician, who looked after the destiny of the young Arthur. The other children will take tho (parts of lords and ladies of the court, and several other minor characters will bo chosen to morrow to fill required pnrls.
