"Come whenever you are ready,'

The captain lined up his men.
"Boys," ho said, "we can either
leave tomorrow morning and be Hie

A double row of hahdB shot up

"All who want to wait, raise
hands."
Not a hand was raised.
"Company M will en'ralll at the
Southern ParlMc depot at 9:22 o'

SAVING OF MONEY
Is tho Mart for tbo foundation of woalth, Is an abnolulo fact. It matters not If you save pontiles for the
first dollar, or dollars for tho first hundred. UnlesB you save, you will Ret nothing. Everything Is
cmielantly Kolnu up In price, and there must bo reasons for that. Kind reader let me you something.
You buy fancy packniic goods, tho packages cotit money, but you do not eat It; qou buy fancy canned
foods, but you do not eat tbo can; you havo delivery of 6 and 10 cent goods, somebody must pay for
horhefee,) and driver, and lastly you huvo bookkeepers to keep books on tho whole choose, but book
keepers want td cat also.
SUPPOSE WE STOP AND THINK . ,
A bookkeeper gets $75.00 a month, you havo 75 customers, consequently tbo customer pays $1.00 for
bo'l -keeping a month, $12.00 a yesr or 6 per cent on two hundred dollars Invested.
