.The latest dances have so many de

into practice what they learn In
their dancing class. They arrange to
include In their number several ox-
port dancers that they may profit by
the experience of tho lutter. Last

All the enthusiasm over dancing

in the clnss of DomeBtic Science.
The art of cookery is being carefully
considered in its every phase under
the capable tutelage of Miss Ethel
Yates, head of the department or
Domestic Science in the Roseburg
schools. The course mapped out by
Miss Yates for the fourteen weeks,
covers the subject of cookery most,
comprehensively and the iuterest qf.
the class has not lagged once.
The course, so far has dealt with
the following subjects: Cereals, eggs,
vegetables, .fruits, meats, batters,
bread and cake. The class on Mon
day night was initiated into the in.
tricacles of putting together a sun
shine cake. ' We will venture to pre
dict that, everyone who waB present
at class, will attempt to put into
practice the knowledge gained thore
some time this week. However,
there Is no danger of food stuffs he--Ing
wasted, since the supply of that
particular brand of cake can never
exceed the demand. ,

THE WOMAN WHO TELLS
us sho wants another roast
"Just like tile last one"' Is
not a rarity here. In fact,
she's quite numerous.
There's a reason. We never
take advantage of a young

to palm off inferior meat
on her. Hence she trusts
to our Judgment and good
faith. Besides we haven't
any poor meat to palm off
If we wanted to. We don't
