That the good roads meeting to be held Thursday will not lack a good speaker is evidenced In the following telegram received by Henry- Harth this morning: "Good Roads Bureau- Roseburg, Oregon: Will be with you on Thursday ev ening. (Signed.) J. B. Yeon." Mr. Yeon is an enthusiast on good roads and a very forceful speaker. This man is also interested in Roseburg and vicinity, as he has pur chased an' interest in the water and light plant here in partnership with Mr. Pullman, of Portlond,, Mr. Welch having sold his interest to these two men. Besides his prop erty here he is the owner of a great deal of property interests in Port land, principal of which is the Yeon office building of which he is the owner. "When the matter of building the Columbia highway first came to the attention, Mr. Yeon became enthus ed with the idea and immediately set to work to mnke it a possibility. More than any other man he was re sponsible for this magnificent high way which is acknowledged by all' to he one of the miost beautiful roads in the United States. He is an eloquent speaker and thoroughly versed jn the subject of good roads and his address will un doubtedly be greatly enjoyed.
