seriously injured by a falling tree
and taken to the hospital with a
broken arm and leg. Dillard friends
extend sympathy and express the
hope that the unfortunate man may
rapidly recover.
Floyd Lamb arrived home from
Corvallls Wednesday evening, rre
lias been an O. A. C. student since
the holidays.
Miss Hazel Fanchcr accepted an
invitation to Wilbur last Wednesday
evening to take part In an entertain
ment given by the Epworth League
of that place. She returned Thurs
day morning.
The automobile is a transport of
speed and convenience when its
wheels go round and round In the
right direction, but when It bucks
well, ask Dr. Cottln or Rev. Morris.
