The annual meeting of the Itaptist
church was held at the edifice, at
the corner of l.ane and Rose streets
this afternoon. The meeting was well
attended and considerable intere-it
was manifested. At noon, the ladies
of the church served a dinner, after
which the annual business meeting
was held. Officers were elected, re
ports were submitted and much other
Important business was transacted.
This evening supper will he served at
the church parlors, after which a so-,
