. This announces my candidacy for
re-election to the office of county
commissioner. When I accepted the
office from the people four years
ago the county was $70,000 in debt.
In the past four years more road and
bridge work has been accomplished
than in all previous years of Douglas
County history, and today we aro
debt free. I shall, if re-elected, per
sue the same course as to public Im
provements, at the same time care
fully guarding the . peoples' inter

The difference between a twenty-five
dollar hired man and a thirty-five dol
lar hired man usually means a good
deal more than $10 a month to tlu
man who hires him, and that, too, in
favor of the higher priced employee.
