home of her husband's parents. Rev.

ers of the Roseburg public schools

ed and the teachers pronounce Mea
dames Kuykendall and Groves en
tertainers of ability.
Deputy Sheriff Hamilton, of Oak
land, arrived In the city this morn
ing with the three boys who were
recently arrested at ihat city accused
or disturbing the peace through pre
mtscioiis discharge or revolvers on
the streets. Owing to the fact that
the deputy sheriff neglected to bring
with him the necessary transcript
County Judge W'onacott was unable
to dispose of the cases today. The

son they will come before the Juven
Ho court. .
R. H. C. Wood, proprietor of the
Roseburg Book Store, 'has purchased
the business property at present oc
cupied by him and situated on Jack
son street. The lot Is 22x1(10 feet
In dimensions, nnd erected thereon
Is a substantial store building. The
property was purchased by Mr. Wood
at a cost of $11,200. Mr. Wood has
nlready received a flattering offer
for his new holdings but is not dis
posed to sell the property at the pres
ent time. The property was form
erly owned by Mrs. L. Langenberg.
