Booth went to Portland this morning. Mr. Ernest Drews leaves tonight for Spokane. Mrs. OUie Barrett of Portland spent Sunday in the city. Mr. John Crate went to Portland to day on the noon train. The family of Mr. Malcolm Mclnnis, "who have been ill with typhoid fever, are reported improving. Mrs. Robert Densmore of Mosier, who baa been visiting her sister in this city, returned home this morning. Mr. M. P. Isenbnrg of Hood River is in the city. With his family ho has been in Grants for about a week past. . Miss Williams, Miss Pearl Williams, Robert and Carl Williams came up on th boat last night to attend the funeral of their sister. Mrs. A. M. Williams and Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall of Portland came up on the train yesterday afternoon and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Sewall arrived on last night's train, for the purpose of at tending the funeral of Orace Williams.
