He was 38 years old, prosperous and robust, till nearly three months ago when he complained of sharp pains the thighs and groin, and his friends concluded that in some over-exertion an abscess had formed. An operation was preformed and a male child eight inches long and perfectly formed was found im bedded in tissues. The doctors said Nevins was one of twins, and that before birth the embryo of the other child had become entangled in his own. The doctors believe that all his life Nevins had sustained the life of his imprisoned brother. Then, in some way, the con necting ligaments were broken, and the death of the baby ensued. '"Perhaps you would not think so, but a very large proportion of the diseases in New York comes from carlessnes about catching cold,"says Dr. Cyrus Ed son. New York is one of the healthiest places on the Atlantic Coast and yet there are a great many cases of catarrh and consumption which have their origin in this neglect of the simplest precaution of every day fife, The most sensible advice is, when you have one get rid of it as soon as possible, By all means do not neglect it." Dr. Ed eon does not tell you how to cure a cold but we will. It will relieve the lunge, aid expectoration, open the secretions and soon effect a permanent cure. 50 cent bottles for sale by Blakely & Hough ton, druggists. The Women Broke the Record.
