Chemawa Volleyball Team To Host Amity Thursday
VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE
Chemawa will start the volleyball
season at home with Amity at 5 PM
on Thursday, September 16. Amity
has been one of the better team s
in the Tri-Rivers League for the
past several years.
Those returning with experience
for Chemawa are Arkie Adolph,
Wanda Bullchild, Debbie Jane,
Denise Jane and Hazel Noyes.
Others that have turned out are:
Sandra Kahama, Sandra Morris,
Hazel Noyes and Bonnie Pimms.
Coach Klein requests that any other
girls that are interested in playing
volleyball contact him. Klein says
that he needs more girls for both
the varsity and J V teams.

Chemawa will open the cross
country season by hosting a three-
way meet with Regis and Scio on
Thursday. September 16, at 4:30 PM.

quarter at Chemawa is set for today
(September 13) in the Library.
Students will report to the Library
for registration at the times listed
below:
Seniors-8:30 to 9:30 AM
Juniors-10:00 to 11:00 AM
Sophomores-1:00 to 2:00 PM
Freshmen-2:30 to 3:00 PM
New Students-2:30 to 3:00 PM
During
registration
students
will see a Counselor and make out
a class schedule. Pick up a packet
with 12 computer cards. Give each
teacher on the schedule two cards.
Give the gold card to the dorm
person. Students should keep the
blue schedule form to use when they
enter classes on Tuesday, September
Coach John expects the team to be
paced by Marvin Devereaux. Dever-
eaux did not attend Chemawa last
year but finished seventh at the
Capital Conference District M eet in
1975. Devereaux was also on the
conference all-star team.
Others returning from last year are
Tom Morris and Randy Lewis. Out
for the first time are Albert Circle
and Melvin Avilles.
Any other
students interested in cross country
are invited to talk to coach John.
