making rockets, by the help of
Recreation, so that the students will
have more activities going on in the
summer school project. This type of
activity will be going on all summer.
After the student has completed
his or her rocket, they may have the
pleasure of setting them off, and this,
of course, explains the Unidentified
Flying Objects.

Student Center
Many students were wondering
why the Student Center was closed
for the summer. Mr. Seare said that
the Student Center was closed
because they’re supposed to rebuild
it.
But they opened the Student
Center this
summer because
Mr. Steel’s store was going to close
down. Many students wanted the
Student Center to be open too.

Recreation put on a pool tournment
for the students of Winona Hall on
the weekend of July 10, 1976. There
were both boys and girls involved in
this pool tournment.
First place, boys, was Mitch Boyd;
second place, Chuck Come note;
third place, Hugh Patkotak.
Girls, first place, Elizabeth Panik;
second place, Darla McCullough;
third place, Violet Nanpooya.
The prizes were also donated by
recreation. A trophy w as given to
the first place whiner, $5 for second
place, and a poster for third.
