Student Reaction
Stricter Rules
Enforcement
When students were asked how they
felt about the stricter enforcement of
the rules, they answered:
Only there for the benefit of the
students.
Boo - Boo.
THE BOOT
Pretty bad, too
getting kicked out.
many students
Dave.
The year comes closer and closer to
an end, but that s not the only end,
according to Mr. Louis;
He is
applying pressure to the students and
hopes to stop all the partying and
goings on. A firm hand is the way to
handle these things, <he says, and a
little persuading Could put an end to
it all. Now-a-davs if you committ
three or more major rule violations,
you will be brought before the review
board committee. You will have a
fair hearing and judgement shall be
passed upon you.
The rules are very tough. They say
the rules are the only way to make us
straighten up, but nowadays we the
young generation are different and
these rules are making more and
more students become drop-outs.
Haze.
No longer can you skip or miss
classes 3 times,. You can, but you’ll
^sooner or later have to face the
review board committee.
Rules are made to be broken: cause
when these rules popped-up the
drinking, smoking and what not,
started happening.

It seetns that some people aren’t
paying attention to these warnings.
Right after a speech by Mr. Louis,
we had the worst weekend of this
year’s history. As a result 18 stu
dents have been dropped or just
gave up and went home.
Too strict and you get kicked out for
smelling alcohol on you.
Hugh
Without some of our best friends
around, this place has lost its old
school spirit. And it seems pretty
hard to find interesting or fun things
to do around here. Our big pow-wow
circles on the lawns have been cut
off. The aiternative is only to be
bored.
By the way, if you have any sug
gestions on what sort of activities
to do, tell Mr. Scare about them.
Maybe we, the remainder of the
student body can get this school
going.again and create some school
spirit once more. Not the party
spirits we have had, but fun trips or
concerts or camping. Who knows you
could be happy to be here and not
regret it after all.
Isaac Jack
Burnt out - that’s why students
get kicked out.
Lew
Too hard, not half the chance they
should get.
