HARVEST TIME

Forty students from the life sci­
ence classes harvested 150 boxes
of apples from the Chemawa’-orchard
during the second and third weeks of
school. The apples, were given io the
Dining Hall for use during the school
year.
Mr. Wilbur Wood and Mr. William
Bpff, whp teach the classes,-, said
that they gave the students the
choice of picking or Working in the
book and most of them chose to pick.

harvest added up to $587.50. The
apples are being stored in the root
cellar of the Dining Hall and will be
used as fresh fruit for student meals.
Mr. Douglas said, ?We do plan on
harvesting more as they are about
ready now, especially the red delic-
