Through eighty-nine years o f continuous operation, Che-
mawa has fa ith fu lly continued i t s purpose o f providing edu
cational opportunity for Indian Students, catering mainly
to students who do not have another school readily available
or an~educational program that does not readily f i l l th eir
individual needs. I t has undergone'many changes and innova
tion s to f u l f i l l i t s purpose.
