    Drama Club Plans Plays
The Drama Club is expecting an
e xcitin g year. Plans are already
underway fo r the production of
two t h r e e - a c t p la y s . P la y s
s e le c te d a re "J u n e M ad," a
comedy and "Our Town," which is
a c o m b in a tio n o f comedy and
tragedy.
A th ird p la y , a melodrama, is
being considered i f time p e r-
mi ts.
Plays w il l again be sponsored
by the Drama Club, but p a r tic i­
p a tio n w i l l not be lim ite d to
club members o n ly . Anyone who
feels they hase
feels they have a f l a i r fo r make
believe is e le gib le to try o u t.
The p la y s th is ye ar w i l l be
under the d ir e c t io n o f Miss
Graham. She is new to the s ta ff
and teaches English and speech.

The Student C ouncil C ottage
has been taken as a s tu d e n t
a r t ce nte r. Mr. Belleque Is in
charge and has developed some
long range plans fo r developing
a g a lle ry as w ell as rooms fo r
students to work on t h e ir par­
t ic u la r a rt iri teres ts .
Plans also include one p ortion
o f the ce nte r to be set aside
as a s o rt of a h is t o r ic a l mu­
seum about the .school.
The center is open on Wednesday
and Thursday evenings fo r g ir ls
and on weekends i t is open to
both boys and g ir ls .

course. Beginning Mechanics is

to see what makes them run.

Dance Team who devote t h e ir
ta le n ts to presenting auth en tic
Gypsy Flamenco Dances. T h e ir
fa s t stomping heels and ra p id ly
c lic k in g castanets combined with
the gorgeous cos turtles, grace and
charm of the young dancers, and
the music o f the n a tiv e g u ita r
to make i t a d e lig h t fo r the
senses.

Church Choir V isits Klamath Area
The th irte e n boys that are mem­
bers of Rev. Gerald T. McCray's
School Church Choir made a week­
end t r ip to Chiloquin and W ill­
iams River over the weekend o f
September 21-22. They v is it e d
the churches and sang in the
Saturday Evening and Sunday ser­
v ic e s . •
Saturday n ig h t they v is ite d in
the homes o f some of the mem­
bers and spent the n ig h t w ith
them.

FUN
I am s ta rtin g my fourth year in
band, and has been one o f my
main in te re s ts here at s c h o o l.
I play a lto saxophone and play­
ing an instrum ent is«,'a lo t o f
fun fo r me person a lly. I t gives
me a fe e lin g o f accomplishment
to know that I am c o n trib u tin g
somethinq to the school.
The most d i f f i c u l t thing about
band is playing your instrument
and marching at the same tim e.
