    GRADUATION
Graduation for the Class o f 1968
was not without some m isgivings.
The morning o f Commencement saw a
steady d r iz z le o f rain coupled with
short hu rsts o f wind. The outdoor
ceremony had to be switched to the
auditorium, causing some
problems
o f sea tin g for parents and fr ie n d s.
The school band had to be replaced
with the school organ for the pro­
c e s s io n a l. In s p ite o f these la s t
minute changes,
the c la ss
main­
tained a very good a ttitu d e and
made an im pressive picture as they
walked across the stage to recieve
th e ir diplomas.
Margaret Garner, sen ior student
who was a ls o student cou n cil s e c -
/ retary, gave the invocation. S a lu t-
a to r ia n , Bernice Jung, spoke on the
su b jec t, "Opportunities Unlimited".
C arroll Levshakoff, v a le d ic to r ia n ,
addressed the group on,"Where Do We
Go Prom Here".

Baccalaureate ser v ic es were
Baccalaureate serv ices were held
Sunday, May 19, 7:30 P.M. in

school auditorium. Students marched
in clad in th e ir graduation cape
in clad in th e ir graduation caps
and gowns. The invocation was given
by Rev. Gerald McCray, campus
co­
ordinator. Janice R eft, one o f the
graduates, spoke b r ie fly on taking
time to m editate. Joe D. Tippleman,
another sen io r, spoke on making use <
of today. The sermon was brought by
Rev. Paul Baker, Friends Church, He
spoke on,"The Sands o f Time".
The
benediction was given by Mr. Boger
Barnes, L.D.S.
