Girls' Dorm Life
Each year when we return to our
school, our dormitory will be wait- |

always find everything we need in
our building. I t Jis furnished with
nice furniture. We have a pleas
ant room with nice beds, lockers,
dresser drawers, and a mirror
where we can check on our groom

one/’ or two study tables in each
room. Here we can study during
our study'hour.
In order to keep ourselves clean
and our clothes neat and pressed,
we have laundry rooms, wash
rooms, and toilet facilities/;. In the
laundry' rooms we have eight iron- |
ing boards, both upstairs and down
stairs, and plenty of tubs where we
can do our personal washing. We
also have two electric washers. In
the washrooms we have plenty of
private shower rooms. We have
three mirrors in each washroom.
We have sinks where we can wash
our hands and brush our teeth.
Living in our dormitory is al
ways fun. In Winona Hall, we al~

certain times, because, on account
of the rain, we can’t very well play
outside. We have a TV and read

where the girls-can dance between

book we want to read. We are free
to watch TV programs in the read

and 5 :00 p.m? rIn the evening any
one is welcome to watch the pro
grams from 7 :00 to 8:00 p m. The
from §t00 to 9:00 p.m. units take
turns watching TV.
When the weather ,is' nice and
warm we have a court in the* center
of our building, where we can rol
ler skate; play tennis, and basket

Importance of Schooling
I think it is good for us to be
at school. We should keep it up
until we finish the five year pro
gram, so try your best to be back
again next year. Let’s learn how
to hold â job. Let’s learn to be.
dependable, cooperative, and kind.
If we work for somebody we
should not be late. If we are late
two or three times they don’t want
us any more. Try not to waste
yqur time.
Let’s take thé good way of doing
things while we have the oppor
tunity in school, so weuwon’t get
into trouble.
Let’s use our manners always.
Be friendly to all people. Don’t be
looking like mad. Say hello to them.
Answer their questions right away.
Be sure to use your manners when
you go to a party, dance, show,
church, or assembly. Also practice
good table manners.

bread. All the kitchen ufensils are
furnished.
