Christmas Vacation
Christmas vacation was enjoyable for the stu
dents who remained at Chemawa. Many activi
ties were scheduled, and students enjoyed the bas
ketball game, dance, and inter-class games very
much. Christmas Eve was most exciting when
Santa Claus made his appearance, and the gifts
distributed. Champions of 1940, for the inter-class
sports held in the gym, were the seniors, who also
held that honor last year as juniors.
