It is th e desire of Com m issioner Sells th a t ag ricu ltu re and H om e E co
nom ics be strongly em phasized this year, therefore, th e E xtension
D ivisions of the A g ricu ltu ral Colleges are being specially invited to co
operate, and w ithout exception the response is prom pt and liberal. In
most instances in stru cto rs will rem ain th o ro u g h o u t th e entire session of
the In stitu tes and will give th eir undivided tim e and atten tio n to th e
w ork for th e benefit of those in attendance.

Academic S ubjects will be well presented by teachers from public
schools and Indian schools w ho have dem onstrated special ability in
th eir respective lines of w ork. Special atten tio n will be given to P ri
m ary M ethods, E nglish, R eading and L ibrary M ethods and M anage
m en t, because of th eir great im portance in th eir relation to progress in
all other subjects studied w hile in school and to progressiveness after
school days are over.
P articu lar atten tio n will also be given by in stru cto rs to the develop
m ent of topics, both academ ic and in d u strial, given in the new course
of stu d y , th e purpose being to dem onstrate how the course should be
used th ro u g h o u t th e year by instructors in all d ep artm en ts of th e school
service.
T h e evening lectures will be inspirational in ch aracter, b u t of real
