T he D ouglas C ounty teachers will meet at Haskell this year instead
of holding an in dependent in stitu te. On th is account more academ ic
subjects will be offered than usual, and instruction in a num ber of su b ­
jects will be given d u rin g several periods of the day to enable in d i­
viduals to take as m uch of th e w ork as they may desire. Because of
th e wide scope of the program it will, of course, be necessary for a
choice of subjects to be m ade. It is hoped th at this m ay be given some
th o u g h t before tim e for classification and organization of classes.
