OUR BUDGET OP LORE
L O C A L A N D O T H E R W IS E
Not long ago Mrs. Brewer spent a week in Tacoma, Wash., attending
business and visiting friends.
Harry Jones, Silas Moon, and Andrew Walker were among the ex
students who were here for our commencement.
Miss Ruth Brewer is reported to have made fine grades in her class-
work in Salem High at the close of the school year.
The decorations in the auditorium for the baccalaureate exercises
were the work of Simon Fratis, and they were most tasteful in every
way.
Miss Gaither, our principal teacher, departed for a trip east directly
after the close of her year’s work. It is hoped that she may have a
pleasant visit at her old home.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Teabo came over from their Grand Ronde home
to attend the commencement exercises. Many friends were glad to
welcome them, but we regret to state that the health of Mr. Teabo has
been very bad of late.
