OUR BUDGET OF LORE
L O C A L A N D O T H E R W IS E
Several trips to Portland have been forced upon Supt. Wadsworth of
late, owing to business matters requiring personal attention.
On May 10th Miss Dohse and a number of her vocal pupils were in
vited to take part in some exercises at Haysville. Everything passed
off with credit to all.
Supt. Wadsworth is pleased to acknowledge the receipt of an invitation
to be present at the commencement exercises at Hampton Institute.
These exercises occurred on April the 24tli.
Mr. Mann informs us that he is now in possession of a lot of modern
conveniences and fixtures for his blacksmith shop and when they are all
installed he will have a shop second to none in the service.
Supt. Wadsworth acknowledges the special number and ’’Annual
Report“ of the Southern Workman. Like every issue of this splendid
periodical this particular number was of the greatest interest.
