GOOD R U L E S FO R N A T U R E 'S LAW S
H E following stu d e n ts’ health creed is recom m ended by
the In diana State Board of H ealth:
I believe th at my body and good h ealth are sacred.
If I am sick it will very probably be because I have
violated some one or more of n a tu re ’s laws of health.
I will study n a tu re ’s laws of health and will obey
them for my own sake.
I will not suck my fingers, or pick my nose or wipe my nose on my
hand or sleeve, for these practices are very unsan itary and very im polite.
I will not wet my fingers in my m outh when tu rn in g th e leaves of a
book.
I will not p u t penci’s in my m outh nor wet them w ith my lips.
I will not put pins or m oney in my m outh.
I will not buy nor use chew ing gum nor buy and eat cheap candies.
I will only use my m outh for eatin g good plain food, d rin k in g pure
