tion is taken away and he sweeps serenely over a deepening channel in­
to an infinite sea.” Find out what that mission is, and, having
found it, throw into it all the energy of your being for its accomplish­
ment. It may be to lead an army, or sweep a crossing, to keep a hotel,
or drive a hack, to address senates, or prescribe medicine. Watever it
is, do it with all your might. Act well your part—there all the honor
lies.
