Celebration Hilton Naw Uber’s Eve Gala is an evening of music and dancing, co-sponsored by KZAM radio, the Eugene Hilton and Fran Again Productions. The Calvin Walker Band from Portland headlines the music, with special guests Eugene's own TranSis ter. Tickets are $15 advance, $17 day-of-show at the Hilton, EMU Main Desk, Balladeer Music and Oasis Fine Foods. 21 and over, please. Doors open at 9 pm, show begins at 9:30 pm at the Eugene Hilton, 66 E. 6th. New Year’s Eve Pow Wow, "A Celebration of Sobriety," is sponsored by Muk Luk. It's at Magnet Arts/Jefferson Middle School, 1650 W. 22nd. Potluck at 5 pm, grand entry at 7 pm. Craft tables, door prizes, raffles, families welcome. Gala New Year’s Eve Concert joins the New York Philharmonic and soprano Kathleen Battle in a traditional Viennese-style concert of works by Lehar, Mozart, Johann Strauss and others, at 8 pm on KWAX 91FM.
