Candielight Concert is by University of Oregon’s
Children's Choir, composed of 140 local children

hike through the south hills of Eugene—off-trail,

Jingle Bell Run and Walk raises public awareness
of arthritis, America's most crippling disease.
Sponsored by Cellular One, the Arthritis Founda
tion and KUGN, it's Eugene’s only Christmas 8K
road run and walk and 1.5 mile fun run. Day-of
race registration is $8, or $15 including t-shirt;
pre-registration by December 12 is $6, or $11 with
t-shirt. Register at local running stores. Packet
pick-up is at Eugene Athletics, 94 W. Broadway
from 10 am-5 pm Dec. 12 and today. Awards, re

Return to Tibet, a public talk with slides, will be
given by Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, a prominent
Tibetan Buddhist lama who fled Tibet in 1959 and
returned last summer. The presentation will focus
on the lives of people of Eastern Tibet during the
