Last Chants for a Slow Dance is a 1977 film
directed by Jon Jost, who will appear later this
quarter on campus. A low-budget but creative
work, it shows in 180 PLC, UO, at 7 pm, free.
Mixed Media
Beethoven & Friends—A Changing Universe, is
the topic of the first In the Lunch and Listening
Series 1987. presented by the Eugene Symphony
Guild. Barbara Myrick of Lane Community College
will speak today, and the Garden of Earthly
Delights will provide gourmet box lunches. The
series theme is "The Romantic Era: Its Develop
ment. Composers and Sounds," and tickets are
$35 with lunch, $20 without, for a series of five
luncheons. Vegetarian lunch available. On Mon
days and Tuesdays through Feb. 24, from 11:45
am-1 pm, the event is in Studio One, Huit Center.
