Entry Forms tor the 1984 NIke-OTC Marathon in
EUgene are now available at running supply
stores throughout Oregon or by mail. The 26.2
mile race, which starts and finishes at Hayward
Field on the U of 0 campus, is scheduled for
Sunday, Sept. 9. The entry tee is $10, and the
deadline for entering is August 18. All runners
will be invited to attend a tree pre-race pasta
teed on Saturday, Sept. 8. Persons wishing to

Saturday Market, Eugene's traditional weekly
open air craft and food fair, is open 10 am-5 pm
in the Park Blocks at 8th and Oak. The White
Tones will play at 12 noon, acappella 50's rock
and roll. Crafts demo: Conk etching (etching on
fungus) by Dan Haworth. Express Yourself is a
new ongoing feature at the Saturday Market
where everyone is invited to come and use the
available art materials to develop their creativity
and self-expression. The service is free. al
though donations are accepted. Featured this
week are hats. Also available are general art
supplies for individual creative and artistic ex
pression.
