The World Music Festival in Portland is
sponsored by KBOO radio station. Gates
open 10 am, music from 11 am*l 1 pm and
includes such prominent performers as
Mimi Farina, John Fahey, Tony Trischka

An emergency demonstration will be held
today in Eugene protesting this week’s
decision by the Canadian government to
allow test firing of the U.S. Cruise missile
in British Columbia. The protest vigil will
be in front of the Federal Building at 7th
