Concert Music
University of Oregon School of
Music will host members of the UO
Orchestra, Roosevelt Jr. High En
semble, Eugene Jr. Symphony, guest
directors and soloists at a per
formance of Handel's Messiah. The
audience will be joining them in song
(they may bring their own music or
purchase scores for $5). It's at 3 pm
in Beall Concert Hall. Cost is $3/
adults, $1.50/students and senior
citizens, free for those under six.
Mark Nelson, on dulcimer, will per
form Music of the Old World, and
the Old West. It's at 7:30 pm in Ger
linger Lounge, UO. Cost is $2.50/
students. $3/public.

annual Christmas concert to support
scholarships awarded annually to 2

of the UO music faculty directs this

Ed Kammerer plays horn in a con
