Remember Calliope? They’re those 3 crazy Eugene women (Sue
Davis, Gina Leishman, and Connie Doolan) who sing harmonies and
zany lyrics to the hits of the 30s and 40s, and who have sung, danced
and joked their way into the hearts of many people up and down the
west coast. Now, after 9 months of traveling and working by them
selves. they’ve gotten together again. The grand reunion is at Jo
Federigo's this weekend (Nov. 11-13) and next (Nov. 18-20) from
9:30-1:30, when they’ll be Joined by Mark Selincider on bass, anti other
surprise guests. One word of advice: last time they played at Jo’s they
were turning them away at the door, so you might want to get there ear
ly to insure yourself a table.
