modern mountain women. Based on the book Hillbilly Women, by Kathy Kahn;
adapted and directed by Randi Douglas-Young. Admission is free.

Coming Up
The Oregon Advocates for the Arts and the Oregon Arts Commission are
presenting a conference on October 1st and 2nd for Oregon’s artists, art
administrators, trustees and board members with in-depth information about:
artists’ rights legislation, fellowship opportunities for artists, direct mail fund
raising, leadership and trusteeship, local Arts Agencies activities and the Fred
Meyer Charitable Trust . . . Eugene Hilton Hotel and Conference Center.
There will be a benefit dance for Eugene artist Kathy Clay to help make possi
ble her trip to the Soviet Union for treatment of a rare eye disease. The Main
stream Band and the Coburg Fire Department are sponsoring this event at
the Coburg Fire Hall on September 24th, 8-12 p.m.
