Q.—Can a United States Senator (a)
hold the office for more than one term,
(b) how long is one term?
A.—(a) Yes. There are no stautes
prohibiting the re-election of a United
States Senator. He may hold his office
continually as long as his constituency
desires his services, (b) a full term is
six years.

Q.—Are there any laws in Oregon or
elsewhere in America compelling an adult
alien to go to school to -learn how to
become a citizen?

A.—No, there are no such laws in
Oregon or in any other state in the
■Union. Attending school is, as yet, a
matter of choice, but every alien who
desires to become an intelligent citizen
cf America should attend school or
should arrange for private instruction in
order to become qualified for citizenship.
