Republicans It Is Up to Us to Elect a Real President This Fall
HE MUST BE THE BIGGEST AND THE SOUNDEST
AND THE MOST EFFECTIVE AMERICAN WE CAN FIND.
Before Committing Yourself Consider These Facts:
Out of thirteen states, where the contest was
between Wood and Johnson for the instruction
of delegates to the Republican National Conven
tion, the elections have been decided for Wood it
nine.
Total Number of Delegates Pledged to Vote for
Wood at Republican National Convention, 321
General Wood’s view on the matter of immigra
tion is best expressed in the following statement:
“The Doors of the United States should stand
open to all who come seeking liberty; but we
should not admit any alien race whose sons and
daughters cannot intermarry with sons and
daughters of the people of America.
Since the narrowing down of the field, the situation is generally diagnosed as follows:
A VOTE FOR HOOVER, FOR LOWDEN, OR
FOR POINDEXTER IS A VOTE FOR JOHNSON.
