This resulted in a whopping 262 total pounds of garbage collected. One fam- ily even collected a mattress. Stewardship is an impor- tant aspect to students9 edu- cation at Black Butte School, and the contest provided an opportunity to make a posi- tive impact on the environ- ment and community.
