Audition set for ‘The Snow Queen’
An audition will be
held for the Missoula
Children9s Theatre (MCT)
production of <The Snow
Queen= Tuesday, February
19, at Sisters Middle
School choir room from
3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Students
K-8 are encouraged to
audition. There is no cost,
and no advance prepara-
tion is necessary. Those
auditioning should arrive
at 3:15 p.m. and plan to
stay for the full two hours.
Some of the cast members
will be asked to stay for a
rehearsal immediately fol-
lowing the audition.
Although set in a <land
of colored ice,= this classic
tale will warm your heart
in its illustrative retelling by
a group of fun-loving, imagi-
native hobgoblins. Among
the roles to be cast are the
Snow Queen, Gerda, Gerda9s
Grandma, Gerda9s best friend
Kay, and Kay9s Grandma.
Also cast will be The Gardner
Woman, Bae the Reindeer,
and Yeti. More include The
Little Robber Girl, Mr. and
Mrs. Crow, and the Prince
and Princess. There are also
hobgoblins, snow animals,
robbers, and snow chickens.

plete with costumes, scenery,
props and make-up. MCT
tour actor/directors will con-
duct rehearsals at Sisters
Middle School throughout
the week from 3:15 to 7:15
p.m., with a short dinner
break. Students will be given
specific cast rehearsal infor-
mation when auditions are
complete.
The Snow Queen will
be presented on Saturday,
February 23, at 6:30 p.m.
in the Sisters High School
auditorium. A $5 per per-
son or $10 per family
donation at the door is
requested.
