Child Car Seat Clinic The Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD will hold a free clinic on Friday, July 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sisters Fire Hall (301 S. Elm St.) to inspect and educate caregivers on how to install and properly use their child safety seats, including booster seats. No appointment is necessary. The Sisters Rotary Hoedown is set for Saturday, July 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. at 67480 Cloverdale Rd. City Election Materials Three City Council positions will be open on the Nov. 6 General Election ballot; the terms of Asson, Connolly, and Esterman expire 12/31/18 (and they’re eligible to re-apply). City to Award Grants The City of Sisters seeks to award grants to nonprofi t community groups and other entities that meet the criteria for the 2018-19 fi scal year, beginning 7/1/18.
